    - The credibility of Matt Walsh, the primary informer in the Spygate case, has been brought into question. Fans believe Walsh’s statements will be proven false, ultimately bringing the Spygate saga to an end.

    - Some bloggers think the NFL and its commissioner, Roger Goodell, are moving at a tortoise’s pace. These fans are unwilling to pass judgment on the issue until Walsh’s testimony is made. (04/03/2008)

April 02, 2008 - The most publicized change is the new rule allowing a defensive player to wear one of those quarterback-style microphone helmets. I've decided to call them Belichick helmets. I agree with this in theory, but I’m not sure how it’s going to play out on the field. But if it makes Spygate go away, then bring on the Belichick helmet. Sean Crowe Bleacher Report
April 02, 2008 positive I still don’t see why SpyGate has become such a big deal. The activity that the Pats were busted for was only made illegal before last season started. So why is it the general consensus that their prior Super Bowl victories would be tainted with proof of earlier tapes? Especially since Bill Belichick already has said they have previously taped games. Oh, and because taping isn’t really the violation… it was where the camera guy was standing (The sidelines) that got them their punishment. Sports Addict For Life Sports Addict For Life
April 02, 2008 negative Like Belichick’s really sorry. Gary Wong Gary Wong Blog
April 02, 2008 - ** “There is no evidence to this point to that” a tape of the St. Louis Rams Super Bowl XXXVI final walk-through exists, according to the NFL’s Greg Aiello. “To this point” is the key portion of that snippet of a comment. However, everyone involved with Spygate, from the Patriots to the NFL league office appears to feel that Matt Walsh is lying - or has been, ummm, “quieted.” So, just in time, Spygate is going away. The NFL is on some next ish when it comes to wielding power over its minions. Sports on My Mind Blogger Sports on My Mind

April 01, 2008 positive I will guarantee you something right now. When Matt Walsh finally comes forward, if he ever does, he will not have this mythical videotape. Whereas Belichick and Kraft have left no wiggle room in their statements, Walsh's statements have been vague at best. That tells me who is telling the truth. Dave The Coffin Corner
April 01, 2008 negative Spygate continues, and nobody likes that more than the New York Times. They have been at this story when everyone else gave up on it. They do not want it to die. Andy F ULTIMATENYG
April 01, 2008 negative Considering Matt Walsh, the star witness hasn't even given his testimony to the NFL yet, lets not jump the gun... Josh Dutt J-Talk
April 01, 2008 - My righteous anger over Spygate is dimmed, but there's still about eight years' worth of dirty hits and cheap shots and assorted rotten sportsmanship... Heather Radish Hasenpfeffer Incorporated
April 01, 2008 positive Kraft and Belichick have come out and stated that they do not see anymore revelations coming out (aka Belickick telling a guy to tape the Rams before Superbowl). I think that anything that Walsh has is either something that he can't prove the Patriots told him to do, or something the NFL already knows about. B Mack Dueling Couches
